Compounded hormones gave me back a full life

My use of compounded hormones started as I grappled with the beginning of menopause. I was aware the symptoms that I was experiencing were not unusual. They simply restricted me from living the full life that I desired. After only a few months I felt better, could concentrate on complex tasks, and had the energy that I had been used to living with. Over a couple of years, my bone density looked better.
I believe that a woman or man should have the opportunity to pursue the medical options of compounded hormones that they and their doctor believe will improve their quality of life.

The flawed NASEM report should not be allowed to change the availably of these therapies. These have been used for many years in this county and many others. This should not be allowed to change.

Hear their stories. Protect their own words. Protect their access to compounded medicines.

On this page, we can only touch on the data that demonstrates the importance of compounded medicines to the lives of millions of people in this country. While the decision to take this vital therapy from patients and physicians might be profitable for big pharmaceutical companies, it will be disastrous for the millions of patients that those same pharmaceutical companies cannot serve!

We encourage the appropriate committees in both the House and Senate to hold hearings on this critical issue.
