Since practicing bio-identical hormone replacement, my health has improved drastically, and it has become a win/win situation. I feel great. Hormones govern the menstrual cycle and allow pregnancy (and birth) to occur. They fight stress, prevent fatigue calm anxiety, and relieve depression. Hormones make and keep memories. Hormones maintain the correct level of sugar in the blood and tissues. They resist allergic reactions and infections. They soothe the pain. hormones control your sex drive, virility, and fertility. They stimulate your brain and your immune system. For all those reasons I am passionate about the subject of compounded hormones being under a very real threat. Compounded hormones are essential to a woman's health during and after menopause. Please, do not discontinue the use of compounded hormones.
