I'm 62 years old. At 47, I had early onset of Alzheimers. I was forgetful, exhausted, unfocused, irritable, sleepless, and had a memory of three minutes. I saw several physicians, had many tests, and results showed nothing, all was "normal". My symptoms got worse, I thought I was going to have to give up my career as a medical professional and medical business owner. My previous physician suggested a D.O. in Grand Rapids, MI who specialized in hormones. I scheduled with her and had more tests run. She did one extensive test, which includes 24-hour urine collected and sent to a specialized lab. FINALLY, these results explained that my hormones WERE the problem, and she knew PRECISELY what I needed in my cBHT. I immediately began cBHT and within days, things began to improve. I had follow-up labs to allow her to key in the cBHT "recipe" and I improved every time. I kept my career, my business, my patients, and my quality of life. I was productive once again. cBHT is CRITICAL MEDICAL CARE AND VERY MUCH NECESSARY. We are NOT all of the same genomes, that you can give an identical "hormone patch" to treat the specific needs of each patient. The facility I use for my cBHT prescription is very professional, clean, ethical, efficient, highly skilled, and follows Compound Pharmacy protocol. I would have lost my career and closed my business had I NOT received cBHT and I would likely have ended up on government disability. I would have spent thousands of dollars continuing my search to explain and treat my disabling symptoms. I believe in cBHT.

Hear their stories. Protect their own words. Protect their access to compounded medicines.

On this page, we can only touch on the data that demonstrates the importance of compounded medicines to the lives of millions of people in this country. While the decision to take this vital therapy from patients and physicians might be profitable for big pharmaceutical companies, it will be disastrous for the millions of patients that those same pharmaceutical companies cannot serve!

We encourage the appropriate committees in both the House and Senate to hold hearings on this critical issue.
