Before discovering testosterone therapy, I was constantly tired and did not feel normal, which was caused by side effects from a prostate prescription medication for an inflamed and enlarged prostate. After the medication, which worked, my testosterone levels dropped and never regained anything close to normal levels. Then when I discovered the troches and pellet implants, which worked whereas testosterone cream and shots did not work, my life became more normal where I felt like I could do the things I used to do, including regular exercising, daily chores, and just living my life. I have been on this therapy now for over 10 years, having discovered it when I was 67 years old, and it has made my life whole again, particularly now that I am getting older and the aging process can limit your functionality anyway. But now at least I feel that I have a reasonable chance to function during my senior years. Therefore I strongly recommend and support that testosterone therapy continue to be made available. Otherwise there will be so many men like me that will go downhill fast. You cannot begin to understand the feeling of fatigue until you live it daily. Testosterone therapy has restored my life and given me continued hope for my future.
