I was first prescribed the synthetic hormones by a family physician when I was in my 50s and experiencing difficult pre-menopausal symptoms. As a result, I grew large uterine fibroids (by over-balance of estrogen), which resulted in the necessity of a hysterectomy.

I feel the bio-identical hormones certainly aid in "keeping me young". I recently re-married at age 69, and have had no trouble that many post-menopausal women complain about! I feel young, and my husband compliments me on my skin all the time.

Pre-Menopausal at age 47. I couldn’t get out of bed. I was completely exhausted. I sought advice from two of my doctors and they put me on a low dose of birth control. That did not work. Custom compounded hormones are critical for my quality of life. I was hit with a debilitating case of mono along with menopause and uncontrolled asthma in 2018. Mono is Epstein Barr based and I’m one of the cases of long-mono, which is considered auto-immune. I have used Bio-identical hormones for years. They have stopped my severe hot flashes and increased the quality of my life tremendously. I don't want to go back to thirty or more hot flashes per day. My attitude and energy level are much better as well. Why would any organization or company want to negatively affect people's quality of life with so many testimonies and experiences proving compounding prescriptions really work?
