cBHT has been very beneficial, and is effective as an adjunct treatment for organ prolapse. In pregnancy, the linea alba of the abdominal wall can stretch, and even separate to accommodate the growing fetus. This support for the organs, no longer properly in place, leads to the organs losing proper placement. This is so in my case. The cBHT tightens tissue, and helps support organ placement, which supports good organ function. I know this to be true since I am living it. This treatment is vital to my ongoing well-being.

Using the bioidentical hormone therapy (cBHT) has reduced my hot flashes to a manageable level, dramatically reduced my panic attacks and mood swings, and helped me to continue the exercise and meditation that allow me to stay healthy. I TRIED the regular HRT- it caused me to gain weight almost immediately, made my panic attacks WORSE, and was much less effective at managing the hot flashes. I am a calmer, healthier person when I use the cBHT. Please do not take the compounded therapies away.

Bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (compounded) has had enormous positive effects on my life. I suffered for years trying pharmaceutical medication after medication to balance my hormones, having devastating effect on my mental health and causing horrible side effects. We found that I was sensitive to synthetic hormones and many chemicals, and that my baseline levels of certain hormones were usually low. Compounds have saved my quality of life! It only took a small period of adjusting the dosage to find exactly what my body needed, without anything extra chemicals that I will adversely react to. I have to pay for 100% of these prescriptions, and can't really afford it honestly, but its that important to my life and my mental health.
I dread the day that the FDA takes away the only thing thats ever helped me. Please don't!

Menopause caused extreme migraine incidents that occurred every day for a few months. Hormone replacement brought the incidence of migraines back to a manageable level of 7-10 x/mo. I have tried many preventative drugs and botox, none of which were helpful. I recently weaned myself off the hormone replacement only to find that the incidence of migraines returned. As soon as I went back on hormone replacement, migraines were again reduced to a manageable level.

Menopause caused extreme migraine incidents that occurred every day for a few months. Hormone replacement brought the incidence of migraines back to a manageable level of 7-10 x/mo.
