I had a complete hysterectomy at 27. I used to take estratest pills. I started feeling bad about five years ago. I had blood work done and found out that the pills were doing nothing and not helping at all. I have been on HRT for about four years now and it has saved my life. I can sleep better and don't have sweaty legs at night anymore. I can think better. I am not irritable anymore and don't have hot flashes all day long. I was miserable before. Now I feel like myself again.

Due to my medical conditions, I had to get a hysterectomy at the age of 34. This means I had to be on hormone replacement therapy for quite awhile in order to maintain my bone health, and simply trying to mimic what my body lacks due to the surgery. I''ve been taking cBHT for years and the cream seems to work seamlessly and helps me to maintain my normal way of life, while feeling more confident that what I put on my body on a daily basis is a bioidentical hormone that is tailored specifically to my needs. I really hope that I will be able to have the choice of continuing to use cBHT, if I can do so. Thank you!

The manufactured patches irritated my skin so my doctor wrote for a compounded cream in the exact dose I needed (manufactured ones were not strong enough). I also use compounded thyroid capsules because the manufactured ones were not being absorbed properly!

I first started taking BHRT on the advice of my OBGYN whose wife is a psychologist. I'd had HRT before in Premarin and did not react well at all. Thank God, he knew of the difficulties women can have with hormonal changes and imbalances and knew that in European studies BHRT had been a great help to women because they are not derived from pregnant horse urine (which is a barbaric process in the first place) and BHRT is compounded from plants and tailored to an individual's needs- not one size fits all. Since then, my life has been 100% better and my thinking processes and outlook on life is much better than many women of my age (I'm 77). If the government wants to take away my individual RIGHT to my best healthcare, I am doubting that the FDA is a free agency and is basically a political agency bought by Big Pharma. Big Pharma can't make money off these compounded medications, so that's why they want to do this. Disgusting and criminal.

I have been using cBHT hormones for several years now and they have had a very significant positive impact on my life. cBHT has helped me with stress management, greater energy levels and increased libido and intimacy with my wife. When I have stopped the hormones in the past to see if it was noticeable, I did in fact notice being more lethargic, less resilient to mental stress and less engaged with people near me. Banning cBHT would have a negative impact on my life and given that I have only experienced positive things from it, I do not understand why this would be banned. Please do not ban them if your goal is to have healthy and happy people.

I have been using compounded hormones estradiol and progesterone for the last seven years. I completed intense research prior to taking. You cannot substitute this method of delivering NATURAL biodentically matched hormones. Using the pharmaceutical method does NOT work for me and creates extreme side effects. I cannot take them. My health will decline severely if I am not able to access compounded hormones. I have nothing but positive effects from using compounded hormones and pray I can continue.

Everyone thinks as women we tend to go through hot flashes and feeling completely moody all the time. With the hormone replacement I feel like I'm 30 all of the time. When I run out, my hot flashes start up and I become irritable and hard to deal with. Can you imagine all the women in the world running around without their hormone replacement? It would set us back to the dark ages. If this works then why take it off the market? This is EXTREMELY important to the quality of life. Men don't really have to worry about this. I was prescribed the Estradiol Transdermal Patch to help with my post-hysterectomy hot flashes. I was nauseated and throwing up. When I started using the pellet implant, I immediately felt relief of the hot flashes and was no longer nauseated.
10 years later I experienced vaginal dryness, fissures and urinary incontentence. I was prescribed vaginal bioidentical estrogen/testosterone cream and I no longer leak urine and my tissues are healthy.

Research reflects the health benefits that BHT include, but are not limited to, reduced osteoporosis, heart disease, endometrial and breast cancers, hot flashes, depresssion, lower cholestrol levels, mood, improved concentration and energy levels. BHT helps to continue the benefits of our natural hormones that dissipate with age. They are not harmful like synthetic HRT. I have friends who have been harmed by HRT ending in cancer and surgeries. Premarine is abusive to horses and does not match human hormones. BHT is as close to our natural hormones as you can get. My hair and nails are growing like weeds and are very healthy. I can go on and on about the positive effects. FDA, don't listen to Big Pharma. Rather than consider banning BHT, consider investing in them. They are the future of long healthy lives!
