I would panhandle for these hormones! Prior to BHT I struggled with depression, had very little energy, and had difficulty concentrating. I continually felt overwhelmed. I have now been on bioidentical hormones for around 20 years, am fully functional, and am the happiest person I know. My hormonal levels are tested every fpur months and adjusted accordingly. My system is acutely aware of when my hormones need readjustment. I feel these hormones have been a life saver for me!

Chemotherapy threw me into sudden menopause when I was only early 40's. Symptoms were almost unbearable - painful vaginal dryness, urinary tract infections, and zero libido. My doctor resisted hormones because I'd previously had cancer. When she finally gave in to my plea for relief, she prescribed Premarin. I'd read that Premarin and similar products are made with Estradiol and/or Estrone which carry a risk of cancer so I decided against it and continued to suffer. Eventually, I found a doctor who knew about compounded hormones which can be made with Estriol, a safer form of estrogen for women like me who've had cancer. I have now used it safely for almost 20 years and what an incredible difference it has made in my quality of life!
