In my late twenties, I began getting severe and frequent migraines. In my teens I was diagnosed with an underactive thyroid, and knew I had dealt with other illnesses during my college years that had disrupted my hormones. At my wits end, and crying, I called a local doctor who was well known for hormone replacement therapy. Within two weeks, I learned my body had virtually zero progesterone, was estrogen dominant, and of course, the underactive thyroid. Now almost six years later, I recommend it to women. I personally have helped three other women better their lives because they have sought out the help of doctors and hormone replacement therapy. They, like me, are so thankful to feel better and live better lives.

I have had great benefit from bioidentical hormone replacement, even after an endometrial ablation had not sufficiently dealt with the problem of Menorrhagia. After many years of paying exhorting prices for hormone replacement and other compounded medications, I learned that I have coverage through my OptumRX plan when filled at an approved NCCP compounding pharmacy licensed in my state. Please continue access to this life-improving medical care. It unfortunately is not an option now for many people, and it should be more widely accessible because there are many others who are limited financially or through lack of patient/provider education.

Around age 40, I was having repeated UTI's. I would end one antibiotic and within a week, I had another UTI. After starting bioidentical hormones, since my sex hormones were so low, my UTI's did not return. I went into menopause at age 43. I am now 51 and have started to lower my dosing. The hormones also improved my libido.

I suffer from Fibromyalgia and was also suffering from going through menopause. After doing a lot of research on HT, I felt more comfortable and safer using BHT. I'm sleeping better and not dealing with insomnia which helps 110% with my Fibromyalgia symptoms which helps with my day to day living and not being bed ridden. The fact that my BHT pills are changed according to my hormone levels is a plus. FDA needs to stay out of this, especially because many women suffer from menopause. I do say suffer, because that's exactly what we go through as well as our mental state and many other bad symptoms.

I have had a complete hysterectomy and do not have hormone balance without cBHT. I had osteoporosis and cBHT help me with this.
