After noticing a rash of newly acquired symptoms such as gastrointestinal discomforts, trouble sleeping and frequent anxiety attacks, I took every test available. Pet scans, cat scans, MRI and endoscopy all showed that everything seemed fine, but I was definitely not okay. I'd been an extremely healthy person all my life. I ate right, exercised, didn't smoke and maybe had one drink a month. I had a fulfilling career, loving husband and family and just didn't understand why all of a sudden I seemed unwell. After a few weeks on the bioidenticals, all of my symptoms disappeared and I was back to normal. Bioidentical hormones brought me back to normal! It has been such a relief to get back to my old self. I hate to think that this safe, natural and effective non-synthetic medication could be taken away from me, particularly because my younger sister died from breast cancer and my mom died from lymphoma. I am extremely careful about taking medications. Bioidentical hormones not only make me feel like my old self, they give me peace of mind because they are natural.
I seriously hope I will be able to maintain the quality of life these bioidentical hormones, dispensed through my compounding pharmacy, Pinellas Compounding Pharmacy, have afforded me. I went through many months of feeling out of sorts, not being able to sleep well and having pretty bad stomach distress, not to mention the many medical tests and examinations I endured before finding a cure. Please do not prevent me from having the quality of life that I have been able to maintain through bioidentical hormone therapy.
