After having a hysterectomy and oophorectomy due to multiple issues, I was thrust into immediate menopause. I could not sleep and had such severe hot flashes I had difficulty working at my current job. My libido was also negatively impacted by my surgery to the point I was not able to be intimate with my husband. After doing a saliva test to see which hormones I needed, I began using my prescribed cBHT cream. It was life-changing! I am able to live normally! If I was not able to use my hormone cream, I can't imagine how I would function. I prefer this as opposed to oral medication because the cream is able to be adjusted slightly when needed to best fit my needs. I also use smaller quantities of hormones when using the cream which is safer.

Hear their stories. Protect their own words. Protect their access to compounded medicines.

On this page, we can only touch on the data that demonstrates the importance of compounded medicines to the lives of millions of people in this country. While the decision to take this vital therapy from patients and physicians might be profitable for big pharmaceutical companies, it will be disastrous for the millions of patients that those same pharmaceutical companies cannot serve!

We encourage the appropriate committees in both the House and Senate to hold hearings on this critical issue.
