I am so grateful to my provider and compounding pharmacist that they were able to work together to come up with the right formulation for me. One size fits all commercial products are not the answer, as each woman is very unique. Please do not take away compounded hormones. Thank you for your consideration.

Since practicing bio-identical hormone replacement, my health has improved drastically, and it has become a win/win situation. Hormones govern the menstrual cycle and allow pregnancy (and birth) to occur. They fight stress, prevent fatigue calm anxiety, and relieve depression. Hormones make and keep memories. Hormones maintain the correct level of sugar in the blood and tissues. They resist allergic reactions and infections. They soothe the pain. hormones control your sex drive, virility, and fertility. They stimulate your brain and your immune system. For all those reasons I am passionate about the subject of compounded hormones being under a very real threat. Compounded hormones are essential to a woman's health during and after menopause. Please, do not discontinue the use of compounded hormones.

Compounded Hormones changed my life from itchy, moody, bloated, hot flashes, night sweats, vaginal dryness, pain, burning during intercourse, bone loss, low sex drive, and irritability to a real woman that's comfortable in her skin with none of the above symptoms.

For the first time, I have found an HRT treatment that has improved not only my night sweats and mood swings but improved my inflammation and therefore lowered my pain. Starting at about age 53 I began having very heavy periods. My primary care physicians were so impressed as I aged to 58 that I was still having regular periods (not one missed) but alas, I was very anemic and had been for all those years. I've been using compound hormones for the last 4 years and it has changed my life. I was sluggish, gaining weight, exhausted, and lost interest in normal activities and all of that changed once I started taking HRT. It would be detrimental to my health if Congress decided to restrict compound hormones.

Before I started taking Compounded hormones I had horrible night sweats that left me unable to sleep through the night. I would get up tired and had a hard time staying awake. Since I started taking compounded hormones, my quality of life has changed so much, I am able to sleep and I have the energy to do my work plus my mind is more clear. I cannot imagine having to go back to those days before I found the wonderful doctor who prescribed the Compounded hormones I am using now.

I have been a patient using compounded hormones for over 25 years. They saved me because the typical hormone substitutes pushed on most women did not work for me and caused negative side effects. Compounded therapy is closer to natural hormones and works for me.

Please stop them from restricting the use of compounded hormone therapies. Compounded hormones work and millions of people depend on them.

Prior to BHRT, I felt like a shell of my former self. Not only did I desperately need hormones, but my energy suffered greatly. Within a few short weeks of beginning therapy, my world began to change for the better. I no longer napped during the day. I became more active. The fog began to lift. Today I feel wonderful in every way. My husband is amazed at the transformation thus far. I don't know how I could live without BHRT. I feel happy and healthy, no longer dreading my 60s and beyond.

Menopause has a lot of awful symptoms. After hormone therapy, my hot flashes disappeared. Both my headaches and dry eyes left. I have had no adverse effects at all while taking hormones. They have only improved my health and well-being.

Compounded hormones keep me balanced both mentally and physically. They improve my sleep, prevent brain fog, and help with overall vitality. I’m sure there are days that I couldn’t function at work without the compounded hormones. These hormones are prepared for me by a compounding pharmacy with my physician’s prescriptions, based on my individual hormone levels. I have no need for one size fits all from the pharmaceutical companies.

The prescription dosage on both my bio-identical estrogen and testosterone creams prescribed to me by my doctor are only available through a compounding pharmacist.
To take anything else would be detrimental to my health. I trust my doctor and my compounding pharmacist. I do not want to take any additional dosage that is not necessary and therefore compounding pharmacists are VITAL.

After much research and trying regular HRT, (which did not help me at all) I finally found cBHT, vastly improving my quality of life. Before I started cHRT, my Hormones used all low and my Progesterone was practically nonexistent. I was completely run down and unable to have any decent quality of life. My mother had horrible osteoporosis and died after complications caused by it. Since I have been on cBHT I have always had excellent bone density test results and my health has significantly improved. Without them, I fear I would lose all of this because I would not want to risk the side affects and possible cancers that have been proven to be caused by the only other options out there.

I fear I will develop the same horrible osteoporosis that my mother had which will not only shorten my life but, in the immediate future, also lose my quality of life without them. Please do not pass any legislation against them. Please hear ALL the evidence for them.

If it wasn't for the compounding pharmacy " Creative Scripts" my cat "Lola" would be a very sick cat. She was out of her thyroid medicine since 3-18-22 and UPS didn't deliver my 1-2 day special order to be delivered Monday 3-21-18!! My vet called Creative Scripts, Friday 3-25-22 and they said they could make her medicine and had it ready the same day!! Saved my cats life.

Without compounded hormones I use, my experience with post-menopausal symptoms was miserable for years. My physician has prescribed specific dosages of compounded hormones based on my bloodwork values. It is a much better way to successfully treat a patient's symptoms instead of managing them with generic pharmaceutical medication. I am symptom-free and my blood work has vastly improved my quality of life.

I know many women and men who benefit from compounded hormones and I would hope the FDA trust appreciates that this form of treatment works for millions of people, which should be the FDA’s primary focus-patient care.

Bio-identical hormones saved my life. I was depressed for years. Tried a cocktail of psych drugs, therapy, meditation etc. These hormones make me feel like the person I thought I would never find again. If you take them away you’ll simply create a massive black market. People will get their hormones legal or illegal. They are much safer under the supervision of a doctor through a licensed pharmacy.
