“They have been a life saver!”
Compounded hormones have made my life worth living! I can sleep at night and feel alive during the day. All of my health checks have been great! I have no health issues.
“Compounded thyroid hormone”
I was diagnosed with Hashimotos when I was 29 back in the late 1980's. Following protocol, my doctor prescribed Synthroid. Within a couple months, I became so ill I ended up needing a thyroidectomy. Looking back, doctors realized that additives in Synthroid caused my thyroid to balloon in size. Levothyroxine also caused me problems. With compounded thyroid replacement hormone, my immune systems has regained some semblance of calmness. I was able to hold down a job without the need of medications to control my pain. My "brain fog" diminished. I even published several books. Now I can't get my hormone replacement and I'm again experiencing pain, aching joints, emotional swings and brain fog. Please allow compounded hormones to become available again!
“Compounded Testosterone & HCG”
The combination of testosterone and hcg has helped tremendously with my quality of life and several important bio markers of health have improved. The affordability of the testosterone and hcg as well as other compounded drugs my doctor deems necessary at various times have been instrumental in me being a productive citizen and most importantly a father who can meet the needs of his family.

“Saved my family relationships - thyroid and progesterone”
I had terrible fatigue and mood swings, I could feel it but not control it. I tried through diet with no avail. Within the first cycle of the progesterone, my mood swings we DRAMATICALLY improved. My relationship with my husband is more loving and my teenage son with truly talk with me again since I can be rational and not emotional. I was unable to lose weight until I started the NP Thyroid, which my Dr. is so excited I'm down 48lb! These two are vital to my health and my mental well-being. My family is so grateful!

“Life Changing”
I am taking two compounded hormone medications, and they have improved my quality of life tremendously. I am a 60 year old woman, and was having all kinds of symptoms that were affecting my daily life, and worse, my sleep. These two meds have made a huge difference to the point that I don’t have ANY of the issues anymore. Please don’t take this option out of my life or implementing unnecessary restrictions for whatever reasons you feel are important. I can’t be the only person whose life has better quality because of compounded medications.

“Bioidentical hormones have helped tremendously”
I have dealt with chronic illness for years, along with low hormone levels likely from overuse of synthetic birth control that I had trusted. BHRT has been a game changer for me, as my hormones are finally in range and I’m feeling better and better as my body heals. It should be a right for every woman to choose this option.

“Hypothyroidism”
After my 2nd child was born, my thyroid quit. My family doctor could not get my thyroid issue under control with cookie-cutter thyroid meds from big pharma, so I was sent to an endocrinologist, who placed me on compounded thyroid medication. A few years later, I experienced a cascade of issues due to early onset of menopause, which I take compounded estrogen and progesterone to treat. So, now, am able to work and contribute to society because of the bio-identical hormone replacement therapy that is custom-made / hand-crafted by the professional compound pharmacy specialists just for ME.

“Hormones”
I have seen hormones change my patients lives only for the better. I have had patients that couldn't even live a productive live due to lack of hormones. I have seen cholesterol levels drop, reduction of A1'c, I have had patients that suffer metabolic syndrome, and once treated over time this condition improved. Right now America is in crisis with various health conditions that hormones will help. Why would we not want to treat our patients with hormones. American is under a financial burden with health care cost, my thought hormone therapy will help reduce these costs as people age. As for myself, I didn't enter into taking hormones lightly, I was miserable due to menopause, I researched and learned. Hormones improved my life dramatically, and decided to even learn more and to bring this treatment to my patients.
“Hormone experience”
Due to a serious illness, I experienced hypo-gonadism in my 60's. As a result, my energy level was severely depressed. I was prescribed a combination of Testosterone implants and HCG injections (self-administered). I am now 74 years old, and I feel productive and of use to my family and to society. Please don't mess with something that works so well.

“I strongly oppose recent decisions by the FDA to ban compounded hormones”
I have used compounded testosterone and HCG for over ten years, always prescribed by highly regarded urologists. At age 67 I feel great and enjoy life to the fullest. I also do a lot of research on TRT and other men's health issues. I can assure there are no safety, I repeat no, problems with modern day compounded medications. The pharmacy I use meets the same standards as those required of branded manufactures.
I very concerned that such potentially life changing decisions can be made with no credible evidence and only flawed studies to support them with no input from actual users of the products in question. While I am not a conspiracy theorist by any means, it does make me wonder who benefits from these ill conceived decisions; surely not the public!

“Bio-identical hormones restore normalcy & function”
Now I can sleep through the night (progesterone) and during the day (test & est) I’m more alert, no hot flashes, memory is great, and mood is improved.
“I am Finally Better”
As a woman who has dealt with hypothyroidism for over 20 years and is now going through menopause I can tell you that traditional medicine has failed me. My thyroid was never really under control. This was ongoing for years and years. Throw menopause into the mix and I felt like I had lost myself.
And traditional cookie cutter generic medicine didn’t work for me- I was only getting sicker and sicker. After coming home in tears from yet another discouraging appointment with my doctor where I’m begging for help and only being told I was depressed I started googling for any kind of help outside of the norm that I could find. I was willing to drive any distance. I found my naturopath practitioner who also is a trained college educated nurse practitioner. I guess you could say I found the best of both worlds. Not only did she thoroughly test my thyroid not just the generic test that traditional doctors had been doing she also checked my iodine level which was nonexistent. No doctor not even an endocrinologist had ever checked my iodine. Even I know iodine and thyroid issues go hand-in-hand. Another thing that my naturopath nurse practitioner checked was my ferritin level which was dangerously high. Turns out I have a genetic condition called hemochromatosis that if left untreated can cause serious damage and sometimes even lead to cancer. I’ve never been checked for this by any of my medical doctors. A lot of my symptoms have been alleviated through therapeutic blood donation and my levels are now within range. My hormone and thyroid levels are also finally in optimal range -all of them not just some of them. For the first time in a really long time I feel good. I’m starting to get my energy back, my hair has stopped falling out, I’m not depressed. I am begging, begging you to please let things be for people like me who weren’t getting answers from traditional medicine. I believe in traditional medicine but I’m telling you in these areas it was not working for me and I am begging you on behalf of others I know like me and myself to just leave well enough alone. Let it be covered by our insurance. I’m fortunate enough that my husband has a good job and I can pay out of pocket but so many people can’t and I fear the day will come that I can’t pay for it. Compounded medicine and hormone replacement creams are very important to me. Please listen to people who are dealing with this in a personal level!
“Helps Naturally with Hormone Balance”
I have never been more healthy taking bioidentical hormones . I sleep better and my blood work is a thousand times better than anything that is unnatural. Bioidentical hormones is made from yams . I don’t think the need to take something so healthy away from the public unless there is some serious corruptness involved.
“Lifesaver!”
I had been taking estrogen and progesterone for about 4 years for vaginal atrophy. I'm 69 now. When I arrived in this country (from Canada) the gynecologists immediately put me off all hormones stating that I was "too old".
I knew that I was not too old, that I was low risk for blood clots and breast cancer and there was absolutely no reason for me to wean off.
I reluctantly followed her instructions, thinking that every gynaecologist would be of the same mind-set, and found myself back in full blown Menopause; sleepless nights, hot flashes, irritability, depression. It was hell!
Finally I took matters into my own hands and searched on-line for a gynaecologist who would prescribe hormones. She was a delight. Not only did she tell me I could go back on hormones, she advised that I take the compound formula. The reason being that I found the manufactured estrogen too strong, even after cutting down the dosage. Anyone who has taken hormones knows what a rollercoaster it can be if you try to adjust the dosage - and even if you can't at times.
The compounded formula saved my sanity and my marriage. I feel like a new woman with more energy, no hot flashes and vagina back to normal.
Which form did I use? The estrogen topical cream and pill form for progesterone. There is no option for these below.

“Nothing but Positive experience”
After being diagnosed with low testosterone of 183 total testosterone at a the age of 35. I have greatly benefited from testosterone hormone replacement it has greatly improved my life. I use a compounded cream that is specifically compounded to my needs. I cannot get this medicine anywhere else. The price of this medication is reasonable and affordable. Restricting, regulating or totally removing compounded medications is unethical and absurd. For the FDA to go after a bioidentical hormones that are natural though nature isn't fair. Leave my medications alone. Please.

“BHRT brought me back to life”
Before BHRT I was always tired. Didn’t have energy to play with my daughter. My mood wasn't great and that was affecting all my relationships. After visiting several doctor and trying many different treatments I was introduced to BHRT. It has changed my life. I have energy now my mood is upbeat and all my blood works are perfect. Loosing access to BHRT would be extremely damaging to me and the people around me

“Natural thyroid and compounded therapy”
After my third child was born my thyroid was broken, my doctor prescribed and I’ve seen the large amount of thyroid and I was very nervous and jittery and my heart was pounding, this was the synthetic Synthroid that all doctors felt was appropriate treatment. I refuse to feel badly and have everything fell apart in my life my body, so I went out seeking a Doctor Who would listen to my symptoms and help me treat them appropriately, through much research about natural thyroid I started on it and adding T3 to my regime in my life came together again. We have thyroid issues in our family for four of us women who are treated a natural and compounded thyroid, please don’t take this action away as we need it for high quality of life.

“When my insurance company decided to no longer”
cover my thyroid medication, the next best option was one which caused a lot of side effects. I chose to have it compounded instead and the price was the same but the side effects disappeared.

“I'm a trans woman and compounded hormones are essential”
Compounded hormones are critical to manage the careful balance I need to regulate emotional and physiological conditions. Management of my hormones are monitored extremely closely between myself and my doctor, and we're very careful to watch for any potential risks and mitigate them well in advance of them before anything dangerous occurs. Getting in the way of my care is going to harm me much more than a low dose testosterone cream ever could.
