I am a patient with an autoimmune disorder that compounded hormone therapy has made all the difference in my quality of life. It was able to give me the active form of a hormone that my body does not make enough of, and without it, I have overwhelming fatigue, skin problems, eye issues, depression and other symptoms. This therapy has been crucial in me being a happy, vital person, family member and productive member of society. Without it, I would be barely able to function or work. Please protect my access, as well as many others', to continue having this vital compounded medicine. Thank you for your thoughtful consideration of this matter.

I started loosing my hair and had horrible rash all over my arms, hands, legs, face and scalp! Nothing anyone did helped me and it was really getting out of hand. When I was ordered Ketotifen by a doctor it began to subside and eventually faded away. When I stop taking my medication it starts to return. Please do not stop my medication!!

I am a wife & mother to five busy kids ages 6 to 19. I had a hysterectomy & my only remaining ovary removed right before I turned 41 due to a mass on that ovary. I was in surgical menopause & I was scared of what future health hurdles I would encounter. My doctor referred me immediately to Pharmacy Solutions/compound hormone therapy. I am a female who has gone through menopause. I suffer terrible anxiety. When I started having hot flashes, I began to have panic attacks along with them. It was devastating.
My quality of life dropped and I was desperate. I went to my doctor who first prescribed HRT. First of all, I was concerned about the oral tablet I had to take passing through my liver and being processed by my liver. Then, the secondary patch I had to wear on my stomach wouldn't stay on my tummy.
The whole process was challenging and I just couldn't do it.

I did many, many hours of research about compounded bio-identical hormone therapy replacement and decided to try it. I felt the research showed it was safer because the substance didn't pass through the liver. Also, the sublingual tablets seemed to be a better alternative for me and they were much better for me!
Much easier to take and I felt much safer taking them. The good new is,I am on a very low dose. Compounded hormones can be tailored more easily for each person's needs. The cBHT stopped my hot flashes, which stopped my panic attacks! I had my life back. I am forever grateful.
I feel each person should have a choice as to which way they use hormone replacement therapy. I personally wonder if this is just drug companies trying to stop compound therapies from helping people for their own monetary benefit.

When I started having some menopause symptoms my doctor prescribed the compounded hormones treatment which has given me a much better quality of life .

I was having hot flashes, couldn't sleep and very short tempered.
After starting and continuing with cBHT my life is back to normal. I feel very confident using these compounds as my mother had cancer. I do not feel at risk using these compounded hormones. Please do not take this opportunity away from me.

Before I was fortunate enough to find compounded hormones, my body felt so out of whack! I couldn’t think clearly, my mind literally felt like a blur all.of.the.time. Hormone cream has allowed me to have a healthy and happy relationship with my husband after menopause.
It would be a shame to prohibit and restrict the use or making
of these products.

Started cream in Peri Menopuse due to emotional instability, hot flashes, vaginal dryness and inability to fall asleep or stay asleep. Quality of life was main need. The cream has helped with all of this and has taken me into Menopause with very little issues. I had a friend in the Medical Community who informed me if using hormones it was best to start before Menopause as then less issues with the increase of Cancer concern by some without a “burst” in hormones with Menopause. Don’t let the choice to use compounds be taken away! .

Bhrt has given me my life back. I was tired and had no drive and energy to do anything. Everyone around could see that I was not myself and after my hormones being balanced every can see that I’m back to my normal self enjoying life.

Being in my 60s, I've taken cBHT now for half of my life. For financial reasons only, had I needed to stop taking them for a while & during those times I'd have likely preferred death, due to the often times severe pain my body was in (arthritis, etc), feeling very ill with no energy. Upon being back on my cBHT, all those symptoms were gone within a week, and even my skin which had badly thinned, became healthier again, within 2 weeks. Their monthly cycles are painful to the point they cannot function normally, unless they take their compounded hormone therapy. The compounded hormone therapy had been a real lifesaver for our family.

When I started using Bio-identical hormones my life changed. I wasn't able to sleep, I was having long hot flashes through out the night. I was so tired, I was performing poorly at my job (Spanish - English medical interpreter ). I knew I had to do something before I couldn't do my job any more. I was so tired I was going to bed by 7:00 pm. and getting up exhausted at 7:00.am. I researched my different options and asked friends about their experience with compounded hormones. Now, I am sleeping through the night and I am working as a medical interpreter and teaching Spanish.
I need the cBHT in order to keep up with my job.

My wife can't sleep without compound hormones. Due to her lack of sleep, she was always tired unable to work efficiently in her job. She lost desire to do fun things.

Bio identicals helped me trememdously when I was going through menopause...I couldnt tolerate the traditional hormones but the bio identicals releived all my symptoms...I will help fight for the right to keep them in circulation!

I have been using cBHT since 2012 initially for sleep deprivation caused by Estrogen dominance issues which a medical ablation covered up but did not help the root cause. Now almost 10 years later, at 56 yrs young I am in the best shape of my life and all my issues due to hormonal imbalances have been solved with no side effects. In fact my doctor tells me I’m his healthiest patient and my Fitbit shows my cardio fitness is a 41 and anything above 33.9 is excellent for my age! Before therapy I was in the obese category and borderline diabetic! Please don’t restrict this life saving therapy! Tracy Merritt
