I am 51 years old, and have been going through menopause for the last 3 years. I've been using hormone replacement with a pellet. This is my second time using it. I'm not sure yet if it's the best option for me. I do have some energy, but I do still have certain symptoms that have not gone away. I'm also, have been having issues with my thyroid since the year of 2000. Which, I do take medication for on a daily basis. I need medication for hormones, because I have all symptoms. I have lack of sleep, anxiety depression, night sweats, gaining weight , dryness, and I am still losing hair today. Today, I still have no sex drive. I am desperate for help, and I'm tired of being tired!. I am scared taking so much medication, but I don't have any choices. My mom and aunt both had breast cancer, but I've been assured that it has nothing to do with my hormone replacement. I could not survive without the hormone replacement, because I felt so depressed that I no longer wanted to live. This is why I need my medication.

I began testosterone therapy in March 2021. I utilize HCG to ensure testicular health and to keep my levels steady. It has been life changing in all aspects and I feel better than I can remember. My mood my energy and my relationship with others, overall I feel like a better person. Not having HCG available is going to require me to take time off my therapy and is going to make my hormonal levels to fluctuate. I am concerned this is going to have a negative effect in the effectiveness of my therapy. I wish the FDA had peoples best interest in mind and not their pocket book. Very sad 😔. In February of this year, at almost 50 years old, I had robotic surgery - a full hysterectomy, and full excision of stage 4 endometriosis that went undiagnosed my whole adult like until just two years ago. For years, among other things, intercourse caused me pain. My husband was always hesitant while we were intimate because he was afraid to hurt me. Fast forward to after the surgery, and I was prescribed an estrogen patch. But despite that, my libido was gone. Here are both my husband and I, eager to enjoy intimacy with no pain, but now after waiting all that time, I had no desire. My Naturopath prescribed me a topical progesterone/testosterone cream and it has been a savior for our sex life! My libido is back! Not only has it helped our sex life but it has also helped keep me regulated so my feelings, emotions, and vitals stay in check. I would be devastated if I could no longer have this topical medication compounded.

As I approached menopause I started having overwhelming hot flashes and night sweats. The night sweats were so bad that most nights I didn't get much sleep at all. I was exhausted and irritable due to the lack of sleep. The compounded hormones lessened this to the point I can sleep and feel rested enough to function and enjoy my life. I can't imagine not being able to have this helpful resource and having to go back to the life I led before taking them.

Over the next 7 years I developed increasing healthy issues that my doctors struggled to diagnose.
