I'm chronically ill with multiple illnesses, which all impact my quality of life and how I live. The hormonal cream I use is a topical medication for my vulva that greatly increases my quality of life. Prior to this medication, the medications for my other chronic conditions were so drying that I would move and my vulva skin would split open in excruciating micro tears. I was prone to chronic yeast infections, pain during sex, and constant discomfort. With this medication, I barely have to think about these issues because they've been almost entirely resolved.
It's already challenging that I need to pay for this medication out of pocket because compounded medications are not covered by insurance. If you revoke or create additional barrier to access to this medication it will have a direct negative impact on my life, comfort, and health. There is no comparable prescription available from a traditional pharmacy, and if there was it probably wouldn't be one I'd be able to use due to my severe allergies to excipents in medications.
Please, please, do not add any additional restrictions. You will be directly harming the people like me who need your help the most.
