“Bio-identical hormones have helped me feel alive again.”
I felt tired most of the time and did not have the drive to do all of the things that I love and enjoyed before I went through menopause. Bio-identical hormones have given me back my life. I'm dancing again, I'm sleeping better, and my mood has improved. I have even been able to go back to the gym and work out. Why would anyone want to take this away from us? I am 68 years old. I am a nurse practitioner. These hormones have been life-changing for me. I have no side effects.

“Changed my life”
Not sure where I would be without BHRT. Helped me get through perimenopause. With BHRT I can manage my weight, mood, emotional well-being, libido, skin, hair, bone density, and quality of life. Aging gracefully with BHRT!

“Compounded Hormones Are a Critical Part of My Life”
Compounded hormones and testosterone have changed my life and health for the better. With zero side effects, I live a happier, more active, and healthy lifestyle.
They are critical to my life.
“Feeling human again & enjoying life.”
Prior to using the bio-identical hormones, I felt sluggish, unable to concentrate/focus at work, finding the things I enjoyed in life, like bicycle riding, hiking, and other physical activities to be challenging at best.
Since starting the hormone therapy approximately 18 months ago, I feel energetic, able to ride in bicycle races, participate in hiking, snowshoeing, Nordic skiing, and whatever other activities I find with enjoyment and appreciation for life. With less recovery time and fewer aches and pains, the therapy has made a huge difference in my life. Additionally, I'm able to focus at work and am more productive without the struggles I had before the therapy as I age. All of which drive down health care costs. The bio-identical hormone therapy has made a huge improvement in my life.
It is upsetting to me that the FDA would consider removing these products without the proper studies to back them up.
My goal is to stay healthy and live life to the fullest and postpone age-related illness as long as I can.

“Menopause”
I started menopause at 47 and was miserable!! I was emotional and had hot flashes every hour (not an exaggeration ). When I received my first implants within 2 days my hot flashes diminished. Compounded hormone therapy has been life-changing for me. I am now almost 62 and still in menopause but have a much better quality of life.

“I was suicidal post- hysterectomy before compounded hormones.”
At 45, I had a complete hysterectomy due to cantaloupe-sized fibroids and endometriosis. My gynecologist discharged me with no further instructions or warnings four weeks after the surgery. Over the next year, my psychological state deteriorated to the point that I was extraordinarily suicidal. I have never had a suicidal thought in my life up to this point. After confiding to a friend about the desperate mental state I was in, she recommended a doctor who specializes in hormone replacement therapy. Literally 24 hours after the doctor treated me with the hormones, I was back to myself, and have never had another irrationally suicidal thought since. I was able to obtain my hormones from the compounding pharmacist recommended by my doctor. I continued to use HRT for five years. I am very grateful for the doctor and pharmacist who helped me safely navigate that phase of my life.

“Our children would never have lived...”
I have struggled with hormonal imbalance for most of my life. Compounded progesterone injections have been the ONLY method of treatment (trust me, we have tried SO many things) that help me lead a normal life. They regulate my mood, menstrual cycles, and so many other functions.
We are also so blessed to have two beautiful daughters. Compounded progesterone injections were imperative in keeping them both alive during pregnancy, due to my naturally terribly low levels.
Without this vital medication, it is highly unlikely that my body would ever be normal, nor would we ever be able to have more children.
“My compounded hormones keep me happy”
I've been using the compounded hormone vaginal troche for several years. According to blood tests, I need way more progesterone than most women. So this is the way I get just the right amount. These compounded hormones KEEP me happy.
Before I began compounded hormones, I was hormonally unbalanced, and very hard to get along with. After being on them for a while, I began to level out, and now I am totally happy. I absolutely do NOT want to know what I would be like without them. Neither would the people around me!

“BHRT is Life Altering and AMAZING”
I was experiencing menopausal symptoms and was shamed by my gynecologist for complaining. I tried herbs and acupuncture, which did NOTHING and actually made me WORSE. Then I discovered BHRT, including compounded progesterone, and it changed my life. Not only did I drop 10lbs that had just suddenly appeared on me, but 50 years of 24/7 anxiety disappeared, my energy level shifted, my brain fog lifted, and I was not just myself again but a better version of myself because of the anxiety going away. I can't imagine life without it.

“Great success with compounded hormones”
Compounded hormones have made a big difference in my life. I have tried many other methods and found no success. Without these compounded hormones I feel I will be starting over to find a treatment that fits my needs. Please do NOT restrict this option used by so many with success.

“CHRT has been a life saver”
Please don’t take it away and take our freedom of choice away. This has been a lifesaver. Compounded hormones gave me back a full life and hormonal compounding, as I believe, is a much safer choice in hormonal therapy.

“Life changing”
Bio-identical hormones dramatically improved my life. I get sick less often, my energy levels are way up, I am less short with my family, my body fat and weight dropped and I actually added muscle, and my sex life has improved. My wife and I both use them and they are dramatically improving our lives. We don’t want a synthetic version we love these and they work.
“Breast cancer survivor. Now using compounded bio-identical estradiol therapy”
After 5 years on Arimidex to flush out estrogen that fed my cancer, I had to find help for my unitary incontinence, UTIs, worsening osteopenia, brain fog, and mood swings. I found bio-identical compounded estrogen worked. My doctor regularly checks my blood estrogen levels to be sure that the levels in my blood are still safe but manage my symptoms.

“I feel like myself again, after 15 years”
For years I brought concerns to my doctors about low energy, agitation, anxiety, brain fog, and difficulty focusing. Every time my doctor ran my blood work she would say "everything was fine" and this is what my body is supposed to feel like at my age (now 49). But everything wasn't fine. It wasn't until I started bio-identical pellet therapy that I found relief. I cannot function without this healthcare.

“Commerically available testosterone didn't work for me.”
I had a pituitary tumor when I was 22 and I have needed Testosterone therapy ever since. About 10 years ago, I developed a side effect from the injectable testosterone therapy that was made by a pharmaceutical company. I broke out when I injected the product. My doctor recommended a compounding pharmacy and I have been using a topical Testosterone therapy that has kept my levels normal for 10 years. I no longer get peaks and valleys from my testosterone levels. I apply 1ml every day and it's much easier than injecting or using a commercial product that costs hundreds of dollars and contained alcohol with makes me itch. I don't know what I would do without my compounding pharmacy.
“The ability to access compounding HRT has been a quality of life issue”
I had premature hormone depletion from CML. When my hormones were tested when I was 55 they revealed that of an 82-year-old woman. Symptoms were pain from extreme dryness. The ability to access compounding HRT has been a quality of life issue.
“Pituitary Adenoma Patient”
20 years ago, when in my early twenties, I was diagnosed with a pituitary macroadenoma. The surgeries to resect my tumor also damaged a large portion of my brain, and cause panhypopituitarism, among other things.
As a result, I was forced into chemical menopause. Since that time, I have been taking conjugated estrogen and progesterone, in part to try to preserve fertility.
Last I checked, my healthcare choices were between me and my doctor. It offends me as a person, a woman, and a Christian, deeply, when people with zero medical training attempt to countermand the expert knowledge of my doctors, based on a book they’ve probably never even read.
As an American woman, I should have bodily autonomy, just like any man.

“I used an estradiol patch to help strengthen my heart muscle.”
Estradiol with progesterone has helped strengthen my heart muscle and prevent osteoporosis. A doctor using robotic surgery put a hole in my left ventricle in 2020. I now have 20% EF with tachycardia. My life has been compromised but the hormones have increased my energy and kept me out of nursing homes.
“Critical Need”
Compounded hormones fill an incredibly large gap that is left by the traditional big pharmacy companies. We are able to customize our medications to the exact needs of our patients. This allows for more precise dosing and a better overall patient experience. In addition, this helps me to avoid any possible side effects or risks that may come with the medication. This is especially critical with topical testosterone and estrogen therapy. My pharmacy allows various concentrations so that I can create a custom treatment for each individual. I have over 250 patients whose lives have improved in drastic ways. These include firefighters, police officers, doctors, nurses, construction workers, and paramedics. These hormone treatments allow these individuals, who have highly stressful and demanding jobs, to be the best and most effective professionals they can be. My worry is that without compounded hormones the price for my patients will increase drastically. Also, we will have to go with less effective medications which will raise the risk of side effects and adverse events significantly. I am extremely disappointed in the FDA for trying to over regulate these specialty pharmacies. The FDA has no business telling me as a practitioner of 20 years what is best for my patients.
