As a competitive, amatuer bodybuilder I know my body well. So when I had severe joint pain in my right index finger I consulted a trusted orthopaedic doctor. X-rays, ultrasound, and MRI were inconclusive and I was told the joint was structuraly sound without defect. My next stop was my gynecologist. At 42 years old, I knew certain hormone levels could be fluctuating. Bloodwork reflected severly low testosterone levels. (The lowest the test registered was 0.6 and mine was 0.8.) After three months of bioidentical, twice weekly injections my level is above 120. I feel great! In fact, I feet better than I have in years! My joint pain resolved; I finally started building more lean muscle; My quality of sleep improved--as did my sleep/wake cycle, and my libido increased to a husband satisfying level. I do not want to have to go back to old me. Old me was spending a lot of money on vitamins and OTC meds to feel okay. All of that was just a bandaide masking the real problem. I have always been a quality over quantity kind of person. I don't know how many years I'll grace this earth, but I want every one of them to be of GREAT quality. Testosterone injections have helped me achieve that.
