It's been 11 years since I was diagnosed with PCOS. It has been something not very many of my doctors have taken seriously. They put me on birth control, threw a diabetic medication in my face and said loose weight. That can be very discouraging, as it only masked the symptoms to a very complicated issue. And, it didn't help, my symptoms got worse. It wasn't until my husband worked for Layne and introduced me to the molecular detail of what was going on and that there was real hope for me. I've never felt better and we've been able to make serious progress on this umbrellaed issue of PCOS. Please, so many women need this treatment, don't make the limited options that are available vanish.
