I went through menopause when I was 55. I couldn't sleep at night at all. Finally went and got the compounded hormones inserted into my hip and in one week could sleep again and had normal energy like I used to have. They are sage. I have taken them for 13 years.

I have depended on cBHT since 1999. After a complete hysterectomy which rendered me with no estrogen producing capabilities in December 1997, I was placed on Premarin for 2 years. I found myself not doing well: trouble sleeping, trouble with mental tasks, trouble with hot flashes and night sweats, trouble with low/no libido, trouble with low energy and low stamina. If you have never had hot flashes or night sweats, you also have no business voting against cBHT. (My memory of a super hot flash dates back to 1993–strong memory even stronger event)! I have been in medical practice in California since 2008. I literally could not do my job without the ability to prescribe compounded hormones for my patients, both menopausal women and andropausal men. Many people suffer with symptoms of low hormones and conventional options rarely are adequate to relieve suffering for both men and women. I was so tired physically. BIOIDENTICAL HORMONES gave me energy. So much energy. Before BIOIDENTICAL HORMONES. I worked came home and slept. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I made a pot of chili to eat for 3 days.,did laundry on my off days. I could not do anything else. So I had heard about BIOIDENTICAL HORMONES from a endocrinologist. So I had my blood test done. Z womens testosterone was to be 85 to 120. Mine was 15 no wonder I was tired. I would get my BIOIDENTICAL HORMONES in pellets. The Dr would insert them in my hip. I originally heard about them I heard the story of a woman who couldn't get out of bed. I now get my pellets every 20 instead of every 14 weeks. They have been over here since 1939. My mother died from breast cancer so I am never going to be able to take synthetics and I cannot function daily without cHRT compounded. If this legislation removes my access I will loose my job and then my house and family!! Not joking!
