cBHT saved my life! Literally. The quality of my life was going downhill with menopause. Being someone who is VERY sensitive to medications, I would not have been a good candidate for a pharmaceutical drug (I never am). I was put on cBHT and gradually my symptoms improved. My life was given back to me. Please do NOT take away our ability to have compounded medicine!

Within three days on the cream, I was able to sleep without wearing socks on my hands or feet. I am sleeping better and have less body pain. I can't imagine life without using compounded hormone replacement. It's a miracle.

I suffer from chronic autoimmune illnesses and hormone imbalance. My suffering will be greatly impacted in a negative manner if I don't have access to cBHT.
I am unable to use synthetic hormones. I have tried them and they greatly increase my suffering.
I am an adult and absolutely have the right to make an informed decision of what I put in or on my body.

Before I started on the hormone therapy, I had no energy. I was dragging. I was tired all the time, and didn't want to do anything. I would leave things that needed to be done until the next morning. I could go on.
Since I have been on this hormone therapy, I have come alive. I don't put things off anymore. I have energy where I now want to do things and go places and be with family. It feels great to get back to exercising and eating right and feeling great.
This hormone therapy medication is awesome.

Emotionally, my life changed for the better. I could not understand what was wrong with me. I was sad, tired, and had no motivation to really do anything. I spoke with my doctor and she ran extensive hormonal test and found I had almost no progesterone.
She did not want to start me on a full dose, in fear it would be too much. Thank goodness for my compound pharmacy. I was able to slowly adjust my meds at a safe rate. Plus, there are no unnecessary fillers.

cBHT has had a significant, positive impact on my sleep, my mood, my general health and my libido. Previous to cBHT, my sleep was light and easily disturbed, I was depressed and had a very low libido. For the 8 years that I have been on cBHT, my sleep is refreshing and I sleep through the night. My weight is normal for my age. My overall mood is consistently even and happy, and my libido has improved greatly. I have energy and consistently exercise for an hour, 5-6 times a week. The difference is like night and day.

“I am a professional woman who recently partially retired fro...”
I am a professional woman who recently partially retired from 47 years in the court management industry. The job was/is very stressful, and I work a minimum of 11 hour days - sometimes seven days a week.
Menopause started late for me, but it arrived with a vengeance. The hot flashes were absolutely intolerable; they felt like strikes of lightning piercing through my body. The many effects of menopause hampered my abilities to do my job sufficiently, in my humble opinion. I read the WHO study that warned women about HRT using Pemarin, so I was concerned about the risks, although the study's flaws were evident, as well. Thankfully, my doctor, with whom I had a long-standing relationship, was well versed on bioidentical HRT and ordered a script to provide me with bioidentical HRT treatment using compounded medications. That was 13 years ago, and I continue to use compounded medications, although modified over the years, to successfully mitigate the effects of menopause with no additional medical concerns. My two older sisters also use compounded bio-identical medications to help manage the ongoing symptoms of menopause and have had no related medical issues. In fact, all of us are healthy, active, and are truly thankful for the benefits of the bioidentical HRT using compounded medications as alternatives to traditional medications which appear to present greater risk to the patient.
Big Pharma may have its place in our medical continuum of services, but compounding medication is of equal importance. It provides the patient with alternatives to synthetics and/or offers the opportunity to modify HRT to meet the specific needs of the patient, as needed/recommended. Women are intelligent and know their bodies better than anyone. Let them make decisions about how they approach menopause and other female-specific health issues. Without compounding HRT, women are subject to fewer, riskier, alternatives or... living in continual misery.

They have helped me keep a functioning balance as I struggle with chemical, metabolic, and detoxification problems. I tried progesterone in a pill form to try to save money and my serum levels bottomed out along with my emotional well-being and sleep.

I started using cBHT after a complete hysterectomy prior to menopause. The hysterectomy caused early menopause with severe symptoms. My doctor prescribed FDA approved hormone pills, but I experienced an adverse reaction to them. cBHT has given me a quality of life back again, and has eliminated some serious health issues which would resume if I were to stop using it.

I am a retired police officer with PTSD that I acquired from my employment. I was taking medications for it, but when I started to be pre-menopausal, my acquired anxiety from PTSD was not being controlled by my medications. I went on compounded bioidentical hormone therapy in addition to the other medications. The bioidentical hormone therapy got my anxiety under control and I cannot be without it. I need it along with my other medications to keep my anxiety under control, so please do not get rid of it. There is no other medications that would keep my anxiety under control like compounded bioidentical hormone therapy.

I have been using cBHT for eight years. It has maintained and improved my health in many ways. I no longer have hot flashes, mood swings, foggy brain, and it has been the key to keeping away the typical old lady belly fat. Many of my friends keep asking how I am keeping the belly fat away so I give them a brochure on cBHT. I have a family history of heart disease and stroke so I also take cBHT to help protect me from these. I am contemplating an out-of-state move and one of my biggest worries is not being able to find a compounding pharmacy because I must continue my therapy. Compounding pharmacies are critical to my health and well-being.

“I have no ovaries and require compounded hormones to be a fu...”
I have no ovaries and require compounded hormones to be a functioning person. The dosages I need are not offered in any FDA medication. For example, I cannot tolerate even the lowest dose of Prometrium, but I can get the correct lower dosage from a compounding pharmacy. I also have a compounded testosterone prescription as the FDA dosages are only for males; my body needs it, but doesn't make ANY on its own due to my bilateral oophorectomy. If I couldn't get compounded hormones, I honestly would not have an acceptable quality of life, and the thought of that makes me panic.

I had a total hysterectomy and bilateral oopherectomy in 2016. I tried FDA approved patches and pills and nothing worked to eliminate the very debilitating affects of surgical menopause. About six months ago, I began Wiley protocol compounded hormones, and for the first time in nearly four years, I finally felt better. I am grateful for the compounded hormones and would be devastated if they were not available to me.

After trials of various HRT combinations, utilization of an estradiol patch in combination, with 150 milligrams of compounded Progesterone, has provided me with the alleviation of menopausal symptoms. I experience a full night's sleep, clearer thinking during the day, and no hot flashes, etc. I would not want to think of returning to the days prior to the initiation of this combination of compounded medications and the benefits provided by them.

“I am an 86 year old woman. I have been on HRT since menopaus...”
I am an 86 year old woman. I have been on HRT since menopause and on compounded hormones for the last 16 years since we moved and I needed a new doctor, who recommended the compounded hormones. I am doing very well for my age and am in better health than most of my peers. I like to credit quite a bit of that to my hormones. In spite of the fact that I've had an irregular heart (atrial fibrillation) for most of my life, it's not worsening with age - in fact it's better. I also have been pain free for many years. My bones seem to be pretty strong. I had some small falls over the years and a major one, but broke no bones. Sexually, I'm about where I was at 45 years old. Generally for my age I'm in good health. So I'm disappointed to hear that discontinuing compounded hormones is being considered.
It seems to me that doctors are well enough trained to recognize when to, and when not to, use the various kinds of hormones. They do not give a heart pill to someone who has a bladder problem. So please for the sake of some cases, for which the compounded hormones should not be used, do not prohibit it from being used in cases where it is ideal.
