Lifesaver!

I had been taking estrogen and progesterone for about 4 years for vaginal atrophy. I'm 69 now. When I arrived in this country (from Canada) the gynecologists immediately put me off all hormones stating that I was "too old".
I knew that I was not too old, that I was low risk for blood clots and breast cancer and there was absolutely no reason for me to wean off.
I reluctantly followed her instructions, thinking that every gynaecologist would be of the same mind-set, and found myself back in full blown Menopause; sleepless nights, hot flashes, irritability, depression. It was hell!

Finally I took matters into my own hands and searched on-line for a gynaecologist who would prescribe hormones. She was a delight. Not only did she tell me I could go back on hormones, she advised that I take the compound formula. The reason being that I found the manufactured estrogen too strong, even after cutting down the dosage. Anyone who has taken hormones knows what a rollercoaster it can be if you try to adjust the dosage - and even if you can't at times.

The compounded formula saved my sanity and my marriage. I feel like a new woman with more energy, no hot flashes and vagina back to normal.

Which form did I use? The estrogen topical cream and pill form for progesterone. There is no option for these below.
