It took Western medicine professionals 10 years to figure out how to treat my thyroid. It wasn't until I met a NP who specialized in bioidentical hormone balancing that we got on the right track. She explained that my condition is autoimmune and very difficult to treat/manage. She explained why the mainstream standard dosages of laboratory made thyroid medicines won't work for me no matter how many times they change the dosage.
