I am fortunate to have as my primary care physician a woman who is exceptionally knowledgeable about the aging process in women and has educated herself about prescribing natural supplements to replace drugs typically routinely prescribed by specialists. In addition, she introduced me to bio-identical HRT 20 years ago, I have never felt better. I am now going on 79, my weight is ideal, my sleep habits enviable, my energy level above-par, and I'm happy. Whenever I ask her if I should stop taken them, her response is always to stay on them. I get annual blood work done and am excited and fortunate to be able to say everything is normal.
If bio-identical HRT is ultimately banned, I worry that the health and happiness of all the women currently taken this now will decline significantly.
