If a "hot flash" could be described as an experience that lasts, seemingly, forever accompanied by clothes-drenching sweats, eventual fatigue, adverse mentality and mood swings and a general feeling of depression and hopelessness, that would describe me long after menopause should have given way to some kind of stability most older women seem to achieve.
