I was having such problems from hormone imbalance that affected my sleep, my ability to exercise (which I have always worked out six days a week, high intensity and weights) and my ability to focus at work and my self esteem lost from the weight gain I could not control from reduced calories and eating right including vitamins and supplements. I tried everything until I went to see my endocrinologist and found my life saving doctor in Haddonfield, NJ. The hormone imbalance was the cause of all the negative things going on in my body that had brought my quality of life to its lowest. Without hormone replacement therapy, I don't know how I could manage to get back to living an active life or handle the daily stresses at work and home. It is bad enough that health insurance doesn't cover these costs for women, but to take the ability away to get the required hormones to help with the transition through menopause, is just in humane.
