I was given a full hysterectomy at age 42 as I had endometriosis. My doctor was very compassionate and recommended BHT. We started with a pellet, which was not effective enough. Next we tried patches which ended up on my husband during the night. Decided to go with estradiol for a few years before adding progesterone along with that. For several years I was taking these until my Oregon Naturopathic doctor prescribed me these troches in 2009. I am 75 yrs young and lead a healthy vibrant life. I have always had a healthy sexual appetite and still do. I really feel without this BHT I would have shriveled up into a prune over the years.
