I thank God every day for the person who told me about this. I got tested and started hormone therapy and within a few months my life was back to normal. I spent 17 years with no hormones and I aged rapidly. I had arthroscopic like symptoms in my hoops and back, I was irritable and depressed. I went from a secure, successful and articulate woman to a shell. I lost jobs. I lost friends. I was so miserable that I contemplated suicide daily and unsuccessfully executed a plan to end my life.
