I have had hereditary chemical imbalance in the limbic system of the brain and have been diagnosed bipolar. It affects stress and hormones in the body. Menopause threw me into abnormal time of wanting to end the pain. I went an internal medicine doctor, open to natural therapy, and he helped immensely. He put me on a regimen for thyroid, and hormorne therapy B12- needless to say it normalized my life. I had panic attacks, insomnia, and pain before all this therapy. I sleep regular now with no panic attacks, and the pain is subdued a lot. I am very sensitive to chemical medication. What I understand is this NASEM study did not take current patients or medical professionals input before completing the study. Please do not put regulations on this valuable therapy that helps many others like me.
