I had to have a hysterectomy. I was not in menopause when I had the hysterectomy, but it began soon after my surgery. It caused so many problems. I had chronic UTI's, vaginal pain, itching, and I had difficulty sitting on my lady parts in a chair. My GYN doctor sent me to another GYN that he said could maybe help me. I am now on pellets that I get every three months, and I take bioidentical hormone replacement. I am back to my old self prior to surgery. I have not had one UTI since my treatment, and I have a normal sex life again as I have no more pain in my lady parts. I am so happy to have this option as it has changed my life. I don't know what I would have done without it except continue to live in complete MISERY.
