Going through puberty at the age of 14 wrecked havoc on my body.

Going through puberty at the age of 14 wrecked havoc on my body and subsequently my emotional wellbeing. I have been on countless birth controls to try and regulate my menstrual cycle and hormones. Not one of them worked, in many cases caused more problems. My hormones naturally are not in anyway normal for any age group of females. I suffered for 20 years because no doctor would look at me as a whole or get to the root of my issues. Finally, thanks to an amazing doctor I started the hormone cream I am on 4 years ago. I have never felt so normal. My menstrual cycle is regular and not so painful that I end up curled up in a ball in tears. I'm able to function like a normal person!! Which is something I never thought possible. Taking away compounded prescriptions that are made to fit the specific needs of patients is selfish, unnecessary, and life changing. Mine and millions of others' physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing needs to be acknowledged as being a deciding factor in what the FDA decides to do.
