I am 76 years old. I started taking hormone therapy at 52 when I went through menopause. I had extreme hot flashes and mood swings. My doctor suggested I try the medication. The medication was wonderful. I stopped having hot flashes and bad headaches. I had my life back again. I was without my medication several times when the pharmacies couldn't get it to me on a regular schedule. I found that when I didn't have the medication, the hot flashes came right back and the headaches were terrible. I couldn't function as well at work when I was without my medication. I still have the same effects today if I miss the medication for more than one week. I have regular mammograms and yearly checkup with my Doctor. she has just renewed my prescription for my hormones. I do not wish to have to live without this medication. I hope you will look into how effective these hormones are for a persons well being and quality of life.
