After I had my second ovary removed, I was thrown directly into menopause. I chose compounded HRT after reading about all the options. Had I not started the day after surgery, I imagine my menopause symptoms would have been terrible. I feel that the immediate replacement of my personal hormones with natural hormones was a smooth transition.
