New Podcast Alert: the Mom Inspired Show

Dr. Carolyn DeLucia shares how to ease menopause symptoms on the Mom Inspired Show with Amber Sandburg.

Many of the debilitating symptoms associated with menopause can be avoided. Sleeplessness, irritability, weight gain, loss of libido, and what’s often called brain fog are all treatable and can be addressed proactively.

Perimenopause is the period just prior to menopause when a woman’s reproductive years are coming to end. Dr. Carolyn DeLucia wants women to know it’s at this stage when they’ll not only begin to see the signs of menopause but also be able to lessen their effects.

She discusses how to mitigate those symptoms on a recent episode of The Mom Inspired Show, hosted by Amber Sandberg. Dr. DeLucia explains that women should work with their doctor to discuss a plan of care, including the potential use of compounded hormones, that can help maintain that youthful, healthy vigor.

It’s a wide-ranging discussion that covered so much ground, it had to be split into two episodes. The first installment, which discussed innovative, non-invasive treatments for urinary incontinence, can be found here.

Hear their stories, in their own words. Protect their access to compounded hormones.

On this page, we can only touch on the data that demonstrates the importance of compounded hormones to the lives of millions of women in this country. While the decision to take this vital therapy from patients and physicians might be profitable for the big pharmaceutical companies, it will be disastrous for the millions of patients that those same pharmaceutical companies cannot serve!

We encourage the appropriate committees in both the House and Senate to hold hearings on this critical issue.
